This project has been completed and inaugurated. Funds for this project were provided by S. Parmjit Singh Pamma. He is son of Late S. Joginder Singh Kilewala. Road lights have been installed from Miani village to all the way to Gurdwara Shri Hargobind Singh Ji in Pulpukhta. These lights provide great convenience to people to move around conveniently and safely at night.

Construction work is in full swing for Bawa Niranjan Singh Memorial Public Library and Community Center. The foundation work has been completed. This is a major project for village of Miani and we feel highly proud that the project has been launched quickly after the land was donated by the Bawa family.

Construction work is already underway for Aanganwari School Project near Ward Number 3. Funds for this project are being donated by the family of S.Jagir Singh Thekedar.

Winter clothing and School Uniforms were distributed to about 200 students on Dec. 2, 2009. The function was held at Village Panchayat Ghar. S. Gurmit Singh Inspector and S. Surat Singh Kilewala were the guests of honor.

Lohri Festival will be celebrated on Jan. 10, 2009 at 7PM at Royal India Palace in Rcihmond Hill, New York. All people belonging to Miani are cordially invited.
